Max

Somewhere in the top 50 of my wishes is the wish that I was good at introducing myself. This is my attempt at doing so. Expect a slightly incoherent political/philosophical rant.

So, uh, to start with I am a headmate. Essentially I am a split personality of someone. That someone does not own an active Neocities page and in fact I comprise the majority of this body's online presence. It's not overly important to the following. Just some important plurality-related words: a headmate is a split personality, a host is the "owner" of said personality, a system is the host + their headmates. It can get a bit confusing, and perhaps can be hard to believe for the uninitiated, but the truth is stranger than any fiction!! ;-)

I am probably most known as the creator of Stardust. The full details about that project are at the linked page. That thing is the only project to which I really stuck. I also do pixel art sometimes... and that's about it. There have been abortive attempts at game development until I realized I find coding tedious and confusing. I also used to do stuff related to cellular automata (and I made many friends in that community) until I lost interest in that too, alongside. It is only Stardust henceforth as far as my projects go.

That's because Stardust is an intersection of my interests: science, writing, politics, and futurism.

I am a very political person. I identify as a quasi-Marxist anarcho-communist with technocratic leanings though I am flexible. I am fine with: orthodox Marxists (though I am wary of Marxist-Leninists unless they are from a post-Soviet country and lived under the USSR-- and I consider Stalinists in particular to be as bad as fascists), green anarchists (except for hardline anprims-- Gaia from Stardust is my attempt at making anarcho-primitivism not a suicide ideology), and even social democrats (as long as they are radical enough and aren't just liberals wanting to play with the cool kids). I consider fascists, anarcho-capitalists, and other sorts of reactionaries to be human garbage barely deserving of-- ahem.

So uhm anyways regarding politics there's that and also I'm a transhumanist. That means I support the augmentation of the human body via cybernetic or genetic means. Before you get out your pitchforks and skewer me as an eugenicist (eugenicists do need a good skewerin')... I firmly believe that such augmentations must only be developed (or seized by) a socialist, communist, or anarchist regime and equally distributed to everyone while taking care to not infringe on identity or diversity, instead focusing on expanding the spectrum of human diversity to previously unfathomable levels. I do not want humanity to become a joyless, 'rational' grey mass, or a new aristocracy where immortal cyborg CEOs rule over baseline clerk serfs. This, incidentally, is why I really bloody hate LessWrong. They are neoliberals at heart. They treat capitalism and hierarchy as self-evident, and capitalism as the only way into space and transhumanism because of Melon Husk or something. Delusional privileged p.o.s... ahem.

By the way I am religious. Despite what you'd expect above. A Christian, even. But I am a self-proclaimed heretic. Specifically a Gnostic revivalist. The gist of it is: there is a True God who is basically an unknowable but non-malicious eldritch being above all of reality. It had children. One of these children is Sophia aka Athena. Sophia is the personification of science, progress, and curiosity. She decided to have children of her own, and one of those children is Yaldabaoth, the Demiurge. A cruel, Zeus-like entity that embodies unjust hierarchy and oppression. Parts of the Old Testament (allegedly) refer alternately to the Demiurge and the True God, though I don't go as far as identifying YHWH with the Demiurge. Anyways, the Demiurge has Archons who are powerful overlords of the physical world. I personally identify these Archons with the uber-rich class/aristocrats/billionaires. Where does Jesus come into all this? Well, He is a wise man whose word was misinterpreted and corrupted by many, many liars and ignoramuses and Archon-spawn over the centuries. It is through both reasoning and observation that one must determine the truth and separate the lies and general bullshit from the truth. The truth is different for everyone, though. I deny the value of the church as a large-scale institution.

...but also it should be noted that I am not sure whether I believe what is stated above literally. Maybe I don't, maybe I do. I certainly believe in guardian angels for a very personal reason. But I don't know if that whole divine family drama malarkey is true or not. Does it even matter? It is a good story. And good stories often have messages that ought to be taken to heart. And the message of this story is that the uber-rich are literal demons who thrive off the oppression of the people.

Uh, have an amateurish pixel art of a cat that I drew. Software used: Aseprite. hardware used: mouse (heh).

Also I am Russian. Or really my host is. I don't really identify with this country. Or my people. A nation-state is just a bloodsoaked patch of land. An ethnicity is just a wad of self-reinforcing cultural practices. Irrelevant to me... I am above it.

Oh also host is studying materials engineering in college. He handles real-life stuff in general.

...I'll add more here soon enough. Stay tuned? In the meantime smash that back to home button and go somewhere else on my site.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION! COME BACK SOON!
